Here it is, the new design! It is still under a bit of construction as I troubleshoot some widgets that will enhance the site experience more, but this is a basic idea of what the site looks like. We now have a featured video on the homepage, a slot for another video next to it and most importantly the news right below. I am very happy with the design, it came from www.showinabox.tv which is an excellent source for people who are trying to feature video on their blog. Also thanks to the Epic Fu vidcast for tipping me off to the site.

That’s right, we won the past Film Fight @ filmfights.com! Our video is being hosted on their main page right now until the next fight is over, as well being inducted into the hall of fame! Very exciting news!

EDIT: I just tested out the new layout, it looks really great. I just need to fix a few more things, should be able to get it up sometime tomorrow.
I have been very busy with finals the past couple weeks so I apologize for slow updates. I am back home for the holiday break, so we can expect many new things soon.
Currently, I am writing two scripts for my return to school in a few weeks. This has, though, taken a back seat to my recent decision to re-design the site. I want to make it much easier to use and have it focus on videos more so than a normal text blog.
As for the Session, we are also on a break until the semester starts again. I want to thank everyone for listening last semester because we had a great season and a wonderful turnout on the contest. We should have a great show for our return. I will update the picture hunt information soon, as the Facebook group has already been updated.
Other than that, I am simply waiting on a few things to come in so I can upload the new design and whatnot. Keep it tuned here!
I’ve been working hard on getting a new theme up for the site, as well as taking and studying for finals. More updates will follow!

That’s right! I spent some time over break updating and organizing the video page AS WELL AS adding the brand new audio page, which will feature podcasts and any other audio projects I create. Both pages are organized chronologically from newest to oldest (and then again by year created). This makes everything much easier to find and since it is linear you can see the progress I’ve made since my first video in early 2003.
Since we are on the topic of news, I am currently writing a script to a new video to be shot in the next week or so. More details will come as we get closer to our projected date.
We are also doing very well in the Filmfights.com online film fest, we currently lead our competitor by a good amount but could always use all and any votes! Check out the site and vote for ‘The Halloween Party’ by fridgeraiders!
You’ll also notice to our right is a nice flickr badge, I plan on adding pictures of our shoots and a variety of other things to my photostream there so keep an eye on that as well.
