As of right now, the new layout doesn’t seem to support the old js/flash videos (which didn’t really work all that well anyways), so I will be hopefully loading all of them onto youtube or something of the sort so you can still check those out.
I’ve also been working on re-organizing the site so it makes more sense to everyone because frankly even I don’t know what the hell is going on here sometimes.

That’s right, I am finally starting the vidcast show that I’ve been wanting to do for too long.
Thanks go out to both Ben and Jordan (whose blog was just added to the blogroll at the bottom) for kind of giving me the push I needed (although they didn’t mean to i’m sure). Jordan just installed podpress on the site and yes my friends, that means you can find it both here as well as on iTunes. Oh baby is right.
I’m waiting on a few more things, namely a new tripod and some new DV tape for my camera. The show will debut on
January 1st, 2008
, which is right around the corner!
As of now I am not sure what I plan to do in terms of when new episodes will be posted but I will mention that soon.

Just a quick note that I am very interested in doing a vidcast for this site, which will be avalible here as well as on iTunes. I’ve wanted to do it for a long time but never really got around to it because of how busy I was the past summer. I just wanted to post something here to let you know what was coming up, hopefully you are as excited as I am!

Hey, I guess I felt I didn’t formally close this project out here online so here we go:
It was a good run, Steve and I successfully made it through one full year of high school with a new episode of the Video Announcements (nearly) every Friday. In my mind that is a huge accomplishment, and i’m going to be honest, it is alot harder than it seems. It’s one thing to have to come up with new ideas and themes every week, but to balance school, work, sports, plus other extra curricular stuff is pretty mind boggling, especially when Steve and I both have to get together and write/film/edit all of this. I think I grew alot as a media producer (if you want to call it that) but in any case it was a great experience for me and i’m sure Steve would say the same thing. Who would have thought some crazy idea we had over the summer would amount to this? It is really mind-blowing.
The announcements will be up on this site hopefully forever (haha), so you will always be able to check them out at your leisure. Although it is almost the holiday break, good luck to Brian Hathaway with the video announcements this year.
I would just like to thank everyone who ether helped out or contributed in any way to this project, as well as all of you who enjoyed it and especially those of you who let Steve and I know, that was pretty much the only reason we kept doing them for a while haha. I encourage you to watch the last episode namely because I mention alot of people who have helped out through the project and it is important to give credit when it is due.
What’s next?
Well I am in college now studying filmmaking, so I hope to put up some of my new projects here, you’ll have to keep your eyes here.
There’s a ton more I want to say and other things i’m forgetting that I probably should have said but i’m just going to close it here and hope you continue to look for new videos by FRP. Thanks!
Hey, this post is just to kick off the new section of the site dedicated to ‘The Session’, a weekly radio program featuring Zack Teetsel and myself which features an eclectic mix of music as well as a large portion of discussion about anything with various guests and other suprises.
Last semester the show was on at 9 to 10 on Thursdays, but due to the success of the show, we have been granted an extra hour, and now will have two shows for the Spring ‘08 semester. The shows for next semester may change, but when dates are finalized I will post them here.
